Our company’s first overseas transactions were in 1931, the year of our establishment. Our predecessor organization D. Hayashi Shoten was founded as a company that exports raw silk to the United States, and we opened an office in New York in 1933. We were designated as a “Japan-China friendship trading company” in 1961.
