Demand for dialysis treatment has been growing in Brazil and other areas of South America. In order to meet such demand, we have been exporting top-level dialysis machines and related peripheral equipment and consumables to South America. Furthermore, in Brazil, we have been participating in the operation of dialysis clinics. Thus, we have been helping larger numbers of patients receive opportunities for cutting-edge advanced treatment, and have thereby been contributing to the realization of SDG 3 “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”
We have been exporting Japan’s cutting-edge dialysis machines and other related products to South America. Furthermore, we have been participating in the operation of dialysis clinics in Brazil.
In our Textile Materials Division, we utilize the production know-how and supply chains that we have developed to date in order to offer masks and other sanitary consumables, and medical & health products, and thus we have been contributing to the realization of SDG 3 “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”
We handle cloth masks made from fabrics that feature the antiviral technologies of the Swiss company Livinguard, as well as non-woven masks and so on.
Based on OEM and ODM, we offer medical & health products such as compression socks.
Large-scale oil and gas plants in the Middle East, which support global energy demand, are often constructed in harsh environments such as deserts and coastal areas exposed to intense ultraviolet radiation. Compared to ordinary conditions, these environments accelerate the corrosion and deterioration of critical metal components within the plants.
By applying our carbon nanotube-filled surface treatment technology, “NANOTECT®,” to fastening components such as bolts and nuts, we have achieved remarkable anti-corrosion performance and durability, even under extreme conditions. This innovation enables significantly extended plant lifespans.
In doing so, we contribute to the achievement of SDG Goal 9: “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.”
A surface treatment technology jointly developed with Takenaka Seisakusho Co., Ltd. and patented. By applying NANOTECT® processing to metal components, corrosion resistance and durability are dramatically enhanced.
NANOTECT® has become the first CNT-based technology in history to be established as a Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS).
