Demand for dialysis treatment has been growing in Brazil and other areas of South America. In order to meet such demand, we have been exporting top-level dialysis machines and related peripheral equipment and consumables to South America. Furthermore, in Brazil, we have been participating in the operation of dialysis clinics. Thus, we have been helping larger numbers of patients receive opportunities for cutting-edge advanced treatment, and have thereby been contributing to the realization of SDG 3 “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.” 

In our Textile Materials Division, we utilize the production know-how and supply chains that we have developed to date in order to offer masks and other sanitary consumables, and medical & health products, and thus we have been contributing to the realization of SDG 3 “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”

Many massive oil and gas plants, which support the steady supply of energy, have been built in harsh environments such as deserts and coastal areas where there are high levels of ultra-violet rays, and compared with ordinary environments, there is rapid advancement of the corrosion and aging of key metal components inside the plants.
Coating bolts and nuts with “NANOTECT®,” a surface processing technology filled with our company’s carbon nanotubes, can realize dramatic anti-corrosion performance and durability even in such harsh environments, and thus we have made it possible for oil and gas plants to have super-long operating lives. We have thereby been contributing to the realization of SDG 9 “Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.”
